Utter a Name was a fun, short game along these lines. Very Obra Dinn-like, but with some twists of its own.

Got both Tangle Tower and Mermaid Mask in my Steam Library but this is a great reminder to start them!!

I love love love Strange Antiquities! That and their previous game in the series, Strange Horticulture, are definitely the sort of games I'm looking for more of!

I LOVE Zero Escape! It's been so long since I've played, but they were some of my first ever Japanese VNs! I'll have to look into the AI series, thank you for the rec!

A classic! Played it when it first came out. I dig the FMV approach and would love to see more of that style of game interactivity in the future
