Matt DarlingI think it sort of worked - especially because it let them play with the audience expectations during Thrinacia (which used Orphic imagery for the mundane activity of "eating a burger"). But I was definitely somewhat disappointed during the scene itself.
Great piece: it raises one of the questions that haunts me. What if we invest a ton of effort in making government work better, but political leaders simply are fine with it failing?
