Of course "Ludovic" is the Anglo-Scots version of "Louis," so if you do that slightly old-fashioned thing of translating foreign rulers' names into English (Peter the Great, Henry the Navigator, Charles V of Spain) you can call about half of all French kings Ludovic XIV or whatever.
