Trump announced long before he won in 2024 that he would move FCC and DOJ under the control of the White House. It was difficult to determine what parts of Project 25 would be attempted, but everyone should have been informed. Heritage Foundation should not be running the entire country's agenda.

when liberals get 2 terms in a row we see progress; 1 term to fix things republicans broke & start some new things, 2nd term to build on, see fruition, and get credit instead, they aren't fast enough or thorough enough or didn't do that ONE thing and conservatives take the credit that's the cycle

Look at what happened here in the UK. Voters were eager for change but disillusioned when it didn't come quickly enough. Yes Starmer made mistakes but he made changes that will take years to bear fruit.

This is exactly what was happening to Joe Biden-- before he got bullied out of running for a 2nd term, and we lost anyway. This despite his massively productive efforts to right a huge sinking ship. He and the excellent people he surrounded himself with were actually FIXING what Trump had ruined.

Except we watched a president destroy our government in 12 months and watched a mayor fix decades of mismanagement in 6 months so we aren't giving ANYONE 4 years grace to fix anything. Out next president will need to roll up their fucking sleeves and have a plan and people before election night.

You forgot “arresting, trying and incarcerating all those who committed crimes within and adjacent to the Trump regime”. If the next president doesn’t do that no credibility will have been restored.

I think most of us will be fine with someone at least TRYING to fix some problems. Pack the court if need be. Get two new states. Get Florida to actually allow convicted felons to vote, as per their own constitution.

It will take at least two terms to undo the criminality of the trump cabal.

FDR had to repair Coolidge/Hoover depression. Clinton had to repair Reagan/Bush 1 massive deficits and recession. Obama had to repair Bush 2 Great Recession. Biden had to repair Trump’s covid failures. Hard to make progress when you always have to clean up the GOP f*ups. And voters never learn.

The first term of most Dem presidents is clean up from the Rep before them. In Joe Biden's case, it took more than 1 year to clean up Trump's response to covid.

Like when Obama was elected. He got bush’s mess. A neighbor who ususually voted Republican voted for him to fix it. I told them this will take 8-10 years to fix. Midterms, they went Republican because it wasn’t fixed. Unrealistic
