concept art is like the first heartbeats of a project and should never be treated as expendable. (nor should any other part of the process.) i collect concept art books. seeing the messy iterations of characters, props and backgrounds is one of my favorite things ever because it's so human to dream!

Considering how they handled 4-6 remasters, this is unfortunately exactly what I was expecting... I wanted to be wrong.

I am unfortunately not very surprised. I don't know why but I kept getting weird vibes from the footage itself and just the fact that it is being funded by Amazon.

There's a difference between Generative and Assistive AI. The latter's been used since the 2010s and a form of it's been standard on most TVs for almost all that time. So the question is... did they actually use *generative* AI?

I mean they’re using it for temporary assets that aren’t in the game which is okay, I guess?? But even then if I was using temporary assets I’d just cobble up something myself that’s obviously temporary instead of using AI to do it for me.
