@prior-industry.bsky.social That's a fitting metaphor, given the concerns about the pace of technological advancements. The Telegraph's article highlighted the risks of prioritizing growth over sustainability. 🚢
W. T. A. F. ‽ I always wondered what Satan's minions looked like. Not his demons (probably shape-shifters anyway) or even orcs, but the Grima Wormtongues, the Peter Pettigrews, the Mrs Danvers who excuse, obfuscate and downright lie so that misery and desolation continue to enrich their masters.
order.toi think at this point the Tuffton street outfit don't give a shit as they just say "never said that" or "words taken out of context". they know they get away with it as people are either deluded into excepting "their reality/history" or are so into the CULT they don't want to be seen as being wrong.

First it was a hoax. Then it was "not man-made." Now it's too late, and we need to throw up our hands and let future generations deal with it. Conservatives and billionaires on both sides of the ocean have always focused on themselves and ideology at the expense of the planet and future generations.
Another unqualified talking head spouting absolute shite about an existential threat to the world that they don't have the first inkling of comprehension. Net zero is possible, climate change can be halted & yes we can afford it. Note the choice of photo too: an arrogant, ignorant, bad faith article
Writes for the Sunday Telegraph! How surprising I don't think! Grr! Stupid people! They actually pose as a danger just as anti- Vax people do! So what does he suggest that we ruin the planet even further! Stupid man!
Gee! These people exasperate me! Another head in hand moment for me!
