Sad news that legendary birder, and erstwhile Goodie, Bill Oddie, has died. I loved the way he got the Beeb to make episodes of The Goodies at Portland Bill, in April, so he could go birding during downtime. He helped bring birding and twitching into the public eye. #RIP
