If allowed to waffle on, next thing you know "conservative" outlets in the UK will be saying Italians are not true Brits. It may sound like a joke, but it always does at first.

Sean Bell8 янв., 19:40Oh, for sure. Though interestingly, the one thing it is virtually impossible to find in the UK (unless you make it yourself) is American and Canadian cuisines. Good luck finding gumbo or tourtiere in a British restaurant.

She wrote gorgeous, complex paens to Spanish and Italian food, not worshipful but utterly seductive and :interested: This is her in 1995 on eating well in Barcelona. A different world.
