But the animation did not start to look like an elbow drop until I had him hold the arm out pose after the impact would have been made. You just couldn't read it properly otherwise.

One thing I "don't like" about animation is how it uses tells, and I am only saying I don't like it because it's an aspect which I had to learn which means it took effort. But I was like man, this elbow drop is not looking right, he hits it and then right when you make that impact he loosens the arm

Like a lot of things, it's a skill I learn well enough that I can do it if I should need to but if we're being fully honest I would rather hire someone to do this. I just don't have the money to do that.

The main reason I hate making moves and doing animation is that I am not interested in it enough to get good at it. Other people are and I love to see the things they make, but as for me, I would rather not do this.

I just saw a short where they're talking about someone who died recently and someone commented like "I was waiting for them to get shown on screen and then you said they died 😧" and like, to me, the guy was wearing the most "I am terribly sad right now but not crying" face you could possibly make

Anyway I should finish the draft of this paper today or tomorrow. Then I'll just clean it up and ship it off. See how we go.

I was gonna say that I'm getting to the point where I need to figure out where my weird terms are gonna come from but it's alchemy and mysticism, I just remembered I've already been doing it.

I always find it baffling when search functions don't let you do an exact phrase search. I can kind of understand how a boolean search would be difficult to implement but a phrase search should be pretty simple.

They will shift some rules around so that recalls no longer happen in cases like this and we'll just have our standards lowered. As soon as it appears in something like this you might as well just change all your habits imo. Nobody to trust in this country.

This is a sensationalist headline (seems US doesn't have any inspection anymore) but one thing that's very comforting about this country is knowing that this hitting the news means that we probably won't be hearing about any further issues of this kind and not cause the problem got fixed
