Not sure why but brain has opened up to allowing new media so I am taking advantage and watching Kong: Skull Island for the first time. I’m surprised by how funny it is! Also have repeatedly said “omg he’s/she’s in this?! Ha they’ve all been in the MCU now too…” Like, wow. 😂

My mom said when she was a kid they used to put a bowl of ice in front of a fan to help cool things, but idk if she was joking with me or being serious. She didn’t have AC growing up but sometimes I just dunno if it’s Boomer humor or honest to God “this is what it was like in my day.”

I have a box fan I turn on and when I go to bed at night I have a larger model desk fan that stays on. Tbh I lost almost 60 lbs which made me cold all the time but now am in perimenopause + severe heat where I am so now when I get hot it’s overwhelming. I also do live in the US & have AC.

I am now an Erling Haaland fan. Tbh it was what he did with the Heimskringla, buying the only surviving copy & then turning around & donating it to his hometown library under the condition it be freely available to the public forever. Bless. I mean, RO!
