They didn't cause this. Grow up. The reality is this ownership group has been clear about the path they were on for the last many years. And it worked for a long time until it totally fell apart. I don't think any amount of pressure would have honestly changed that. There's been pressure!

By a 6-3 vote, the Seattle City Council just voted to reject Mayor Katie Wilson's universal free school meals plan. The Councilmembers who voted yes (against the plan): Hollingsworth, Foster, Rivera, Kettle, Strauss, Juarez. Rinck, Lin, and Saka voted for the plan. A dark, sad day for our kids.
