It's a reasonable question! But it's also the paper of the Democratic leadership in Congress, Schumer and Jeffries, the NYT is a local paper we've made globally important, and I like seeing what it is they're reading and how it's shaping their worldview. A paper for wealthy centrist New Yorkers.

Hmmm. I read the Emily Wilson review of Nolan's The Odyssey and not sure what the hubbub is about. Are negative reviews not allowed anymore? Some nuance of her points seems flattened in the criticisms of the review, too.
