My favorite genre of indie game is the one where they get tired of waiting for an official release of a beloved game so they make their own, much better, version.

It's crazy how nowadays Star wars is a red flag rather than a selling point for a game to me. I know exactly what characters I'll see, exactly what places there will be, what kind of creatures will show up. It really limits the potential of the story imo.

They’re packaging it like this so it looks like a shallow trend, but Gen Z has gone through two financial crises, a pandemic, rising fascism, active shooter drills since they were toddlers, and are now being told by the oligarchy they’re to be replaced by robots. Socialism is the logical conclusion.
