Ameaka Fatima Nkempu, a Johns Hopkins University researcher in public health, was detained by ICE while boarding a domestic flight. She says she is Cameroonian in a Medium article that she authored. As of Thursday morning, the ICE Online Detainee Locator did not list where she was being held.

My spouse sometimes takes a gummy to help him sleep, and every once in a awhile he’ll get one that’s a little too strong and go play guitar in the basement for a few hours. 😂

The imminent flight that I mentioned at the end of this story has taken off. Sounds like it’s going to go Senegal - Ghana - Central African Republic, with the latter two being third-country removals. At least one of the immigrants being sent to CAR is from Nepal.
