See I do actually know this. I never thought that’s an incredible puppet. But some of the commentary about it is getting ridiculous.

Feel the need to point out I know about Bill Irwin and it’s not amazing puppetry. It’s just the story is getting out of hand online.

I’m sure a puppet was used in some ways but the way the story is being written about online is reminiscent of those “Heath Ledger just improvised the whole movie” posts.

I’ve become a little obsessed with the cyclops in The Odyssey. Trying to get to the bottom of the “they used a 60 ft puppet to give the actors something to look at” story.
