I took a long weekend off and now I have a huge pile of emails and work to return to. Less a case of relaxing and more of concentrating stress and moving it to a later date.

It's funny how no-one ever asks where the money is coming from when you announce a cut in immigration.

Personally, I don’t think the government have a fucking clue what the implications of killing the Higher Education sector are. They’re in for some big, very nasty surprises.

The President of the United States is threatening blatant war crimes against millions of innocent people unless the nation he illegally attacked submits to his mobster-like demands. The greatest threat to world peace is Donald Trump.

It's driving me insane. The govt spends £1.4 trillion a year. Borrowing estimates are often by tens of billions over a year. But we're supposed to imagine money is budgeted to the last penny.

What stood out to me most in this story is that the lobbying form claims to have a national journalist secretly "on retainer" to place articles with the hack's employer
