that odyssey review was pretty funny but also kind of like if wes anderson did the iliad and someone went long on how everything looks like a diorama and the characters have a flat affect and there's a general named "Gen. Greek Tragedy" and like yes i understand that is a wes anderson movie correct
As someone who a) is very sensitive to plot holes and b) very into most Nolan films, I long ago developed what I call the INCEPTION rule: I don't care how many holes you can poke in something after the fact if the experience of watching it was absolutely thrilling

The Invite: Loved it. Possibly because I’ve been starved of well made American comedy dramas that were ten a penny at the cinema up to the 90s. But I laughed a lot & was touched too. The score was overpowering, though. Dedicated to Diane Keaton & Wilde channels her perfectly in her own performance.
