Something that's hard to swallow is that if the sentence "ALL THIS WAS CAUSED BY FOSSIL FUELS" was spelled out by the flames of this season's wildfires, it still wouldn't really make a huge dent in the widespread complacency and denialism around the need to urgently stop using fossil fuels
