i know i'm preaching to the choir on this site of all sites, but i really think young queer people being active on twitter should be considered a form of self-harm in the same way that we generally understand 4chan is bad for you. because twitter is basically 4chan at this point

Folks rightfully complain about media literacy and not knowing how to do their taxes in one breath and then--in the same spaces--also whine about schools teaching "useless things like what a green light at the end of Great Gatsby means" and "calculus". That's what "English" and "Math" is for.
