Is this why they won't bring the volcano Taco back?

Finished the Metal Virus saga of the IDW Sonic comics. Damn. That's good. Probably the best "Zombie apocalypse" story I've ever read. It even made Silver kind of cool. Absolutely impressed.

Things I have discovered about Godot. I am comfortable with programming UI, game mechanics, and interactions. I am NOT comfortable working with cameras and animations. At all.

Today's #OneThingInGodot Went over the scirpts and made some notes on how animations should be implemented and through what. No actual scripting, but I'm still re-learning my code a bit, and also terrified of sudden crashes or system freezes...

One of these days I'm going to notice typos BEFORE I post. But not this day. Or I think any day soon...

Screen stopped moving and I felt my heart jump in terror. Turns out I just hit the bottom of the page and there was nothing left to scroll down too. I feel like this "terror that something will never move again" couldn't be channeled into some kind of game concept, but I don't know what.

At this point I'm just running ger back to an even earlier timeshift than I had before. Thats restored the monitor, we'll just have to wait and see what else it fixes....

Had another graphics freeze. So, I'm gonna cross my fingers, hold my breath and try another update. Pray for me.

I also really, REALLY don't like the layout. Even if I fix the walls and remove the visual noise, it's still SO cluttered! The camera angle is also a major problem, natively. I'm thinking about going first person. Which is something you see more in 2D Dungeon crawlers, not turnbased RPGS.

Today's #OneThingInGodot after a long, and not entirely voluntary, break from Godot, I'm taking a look at the RPG battle script again. I can still make sense of it. And I can understand what I need to do to work on it, but it feels a little overwhelming still.
