What stops this? Well, if the crowd is defiant and relentless enough that officials are genuinely worried they don't have enough cops to control it (they can't arrest everyone!) or that doing so would result in a worse backlash. There's a reason covering local government made me an anarchist.

I have said it before and I will keep saying it. Alberta is the testing ground to remove free healthcare in Canada. If they succeed here, it will spread all over the country. Carney won't stop it because he wants to turn us into the US. Vote NDP/Green.
