the internet archive aims to make the texts available for people to actually read, AI companies don't. they intend to enclose the commons and destroy access.
Sen. Lemon Gogurtputting aside the destruction of rare books, how is digitizing a copyrighted text "transformative" for anthropic but the internet archive is guilty of infringement for the national emergency library
TikTok has incredible moderation team. Our InfoWars video about Multiple Horse Theory — the idea that there are many horses in the world and not just one — has been fully deemed misinformation and lost the formal appeals process. Confirmed by Larry Ellison: There is only one horse on Earth.
She loved her surgery cone for the first couple days (it made her feel powerful and intimidating) so we got her a courted ruff to look sinister in.
Important anti fascist skill to learn is being brave enough to yell "shut the fuck up" at someone in public
Hemant MehtaEvangelist Whitney Lynn says she preaches on planes because she loves “a captive audience.” She's not alone. It's becoming a trend. If spreading your message requires listeners who can't escape, maybe it's not as compelling as you think. www.friendlyatheist.com/p/christian-...

if you just went by the headline you might think the author was rehabilitating an egomaniacal white supremacist for no reason other than shock value. not so! it's actually to rewrite the "dems should moderate on wealth taxes and trans rights" article for the 1000th time
Gilad Edelman“I fucking hate him; I think he’s a scumbag, and you can quote me on that,” one progressive said about Richard Hanania. And yet, “I think, bizarrely enough, that he and I probably share the same broad overall analysis of the American right.” Read my piece here: www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...
every time you write overly defensively you should remember that you are pursuing a strategy of writing careful sentences specifically for people who demonstrably either won't or can't read them
BeijingPalmerthere is literally no amount of caveats or careful wording that will protect you from stupidity or bad faith, so you might as well say things straightforwardly and strongly to begin with.
