Trump, Erdogan, Modi, all of them are like this. Don’t mind being hated by many, even welcome it if from fear, but absolutely despise mockery. Putin went after a satirical puppet show. Xi went after Winnie the Pooh. Trump went after Jimmy Kimmel (and failed). They hate hate hate being laughed at.
Ed BurmilaThe deep seated fear that motivates every bully is humiliation. They can tolerate being loathed (provided you also fear them). But being laughed at, that gets them. Feels like a matter of time before he can’t handle any more humiliation and fires off a nuke just to get everyone back to fearing him.
