If we elect Social Democrats to a majority in Congress and the presidency, then we can see what they'll accomplish. If they have that power and can't get things done, then you can hold them accountable. But, Mamdani has been Mayor for a few months and accomplished a bunch of things.

#85 Why does this work so well? The trailer looked kinda cute but seemed like a dumb premise that single people can only have sex one night a year, but they addressed it well and used it for great effect. They're both cute and the right level of adorkable. It's well shot and very funny.

FWIW, Meta was fully aware of how these glasses would primarily be used. The glasses were designed to erase consent, and that is why they exist. Anything that they do that suggests they want to ameliorate this use is an attempt to win the PR battle and manipulate public opinion.

I was fairly excited for Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn and there's a hint of what could have been, but it's just never developed.
