Wait, you're telling me this thing that doesn't do what they said it does, is wrong upwards of half of the time, is prohibitively expensive to run, and everyone hates because it's made of theft and killing people doesn't have a potential to make all the money forever????????

This is an excellent article, and well worth your time. Even if you’re not an archaeologist, what it has to say about AI’s effects on research, academia, and knowledge-production in general is very insightful
