Paying taxes for things like food I won't eat, roads across town I never use, housing I'll never live in, is pretty cool actually. The kid who isn't hungry won't bother my kid in school, the roads allow people to visit my part of town and make it better. Housed people contribute to my society.

Yesterday when I went out for my nightly run, the storm that hit us had moved off and I was able to watch it while I got my miles in. I told my wife how impressive it was and that I was sad I didn't get a picture. Fortunately, someone in a local group I'm in got a great photo.
