I think you're over-estimating how smart the Ellisons are. They're just brain-rotted billionaires with a history of bad investments and even worse behavior moving into an area because it's prestigious. They are, simply put, the exact sort of pampered dipshit who thinks Bari Weiss is amazing.

They did lots of stuff, much of it good. However, they failed to hold anyone accountable for January 6th even though everyone was screaming at them that all this would happen. That one failure is enough to negate much of the good they did under Biden.

MAGA and, especially, MAHA are eugenics movements. The desire to get rid of "useless eaters" underlies most health policies of the administration, just like the desire to get rid of "impure ethnicities" underlies most of their legal policies.

I've seen him and others called "Bloodless Quants." People who focus on data to the exclusion of everything else. People live on spreadsheets and not in real life. If the line says GDP is growing then that must mean only crazy people would be seriously worried about finances.
