Gosh, 40 years. I remember this really well as I was living not far from where she disappeared, and she was about the same age as me. Really hope for her family and friends' sakes her remains are finally found.

It's astonishing how low down the political agenda this remains in Britain, when all the environmental indicators are signalling disaster.

Jack HarrisonI remain unconvinced by compulsory voting - I think choosing not to vote is just as much an exercise of a person’s democratic right as voting. I suppose you can always spoil your ballot, but I’d only support this if there were some legitimate spoil your ballot option like a “none of the above” box.
