Game of the Week 29 for 2026 is: TL&So Prince Jerian A really fun presentation for a stats driven choose your own adventure game. A political intrigue reading RPG. It doesn't quite hit the mark, and the art is recycled heavily, but I appreciate the ambition of it, and the detailed world.

The dumbest part is GPT just searches for what you asked and pulls Reddit results. You don’t need AI to do that. It’s basically clicking the first 5 links of a google search for you. How lazy are we?

Game Of The Week 28 for 2026 is: Cat Mail Co. Pretty much the only thing I played all week. You (and maybe a friend) run a little post office, lesbian cats come by asking to pick up or drop off mail. Fun puzzles in packing up the mail to going out by boat, and sorting the mail for here.

The Taco Bell finger pointing is a psyop to redirect attention from the real culprit, the deregulation and lack of oversight in our food supply

…except our perspective character, a white dude who’s essentially a tourist in the scene crying about his bisexual girlfriend and following the suffering around him to make “art” and his big gripe is he doesn’t want to take the nepotism job his parents found him at a TV network.

I also dislike RENT but I feel like the movie version plays as a satire. Like… they’re all a specific kind of insufferable artist, and they’re not heroic in any way? Granted they’re all queer and suffering during the AIDs epidemic but they just come across as entitled shithead squatters in the film.

Game Of The Week 27 for 2026 is: Idols Of Ash Maybe the easiest GoTW selection yet. This game is short but concise. You descend down into a cave with a grappling hook. Something is hunting you. You can go fast, you can be careful, but every aspect of the core premise is flawlessly executed.
