Frum: The 20% who lived in the most pro-Trump places suffered 70,000 more COVID deaths than the 20% in the most pro-Biden places. Red America obeyed those who told them not to mask, not to vaccinate. They died for it. No, Fauci is not the villain here. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...

O’Neal helped purge me & all the other Black full-time staff columnists at the Post Opinion Section. I challenged his move to fire me in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk killing. And he testified against me in June. We are expecting an arbitration ruling soon. Convenient time for him to quit.
Natalie KorachNew: Washington Post Opinion editor Adam O’Neal is leaving, he announced in an internal memo Friday
New from 404 Media: Google Earth has introduced an AI feature that lets anyone fabricate completely bullshit satellite images. In our own tests, we added a “bomb blast and crater” to an area of Los Angeles. This is a misinformation time bomb, will 100% be abused www.404media.co/google-earth...
This is morally monstrous behavior. These are ordinary, innocent people that Trump is condemning to suffering & death out of political vindictiveness. Every decent human being, regardless of political party, should condemn it. Where is the fucking *anger*? From the press? From civic leaders? Pols?
I’ve treated thousands of COVID patients who needed to be hospitalized but I’ve never seen a single person who needed to be hospitalized for a complication from a COVID vaccine. Cause these people are always lying.
Aaron RuparSen. Roger Marshall: "Who didn't have a friend who took this vaccine and had some time of complication? A stroke, a blood clot, a young man getting some type of heart inflammation. That's what destroyed the trust in the American people for our government."
Never forget.
Tom JoscelynIt’s striking that Douthat has been at the NYT all these years. The right has built a closed media ecosystem on the (false) belief that legacy media is a closed ecosystem. Meanwhile, a rightwing intellectual mediocrity like Douthat kept chugging along at the Times. www.nytimes.com/2026/07/28/b...
Omar Navarro, who pleaded guilty to embezzling $250k from his congressional campaign, says he was told he could get a Trump pardon if he paid $2m-$3m to a law firm. He won't say who told him this, because the person "is pretty powerful in the government … so I’m very scared to even say anything.”
Mike Waltz -- the same guy who accidentally added the editor of the Atlantic to a top secret Signal group chat about US strikes in Yemen -- says that people who expose military secrets need to be in jail.
Aaron RuparWELKER: Is America backing away from a larger attack bc our stockpile has been depleted? WALTZ: We have to take a step back. A lot of our stockpiles were depleted because of Biden WELKER: But you acknowledge they're depleted? WALTZ: No. And the people leaking this nonsense deserve to be in jail
Cecilia Vega says she was pressured by Bari Weiss and other CBS execs to include misinformation and political bias in reporting that aired this year. "Never in my career, until now, have I felt that those edits, that those suggestions, came from a place of misinformation or politics."
