So many people are going to get stalked and harassed via this shit. This is really fucked up and I hate it so much. It also clarifies the stated plan to move away from registration stickers: If they're continually surveiling everyone with "AI" license plate scanners, what do they need sticker for?

Tim White (1952 – 2020) left us much too early. I remember sci-fi book store shelves here in Australia in the late 1970s - early 80s were completely dominated by artists Chris Foss, Tim White and Peter Elson. I particularly loved White’s hyperrealistic style and vivid colour work (purple skies!)

*whispers* you know we can do this cultural debate about art thing all the time, right? Websites and news organizations used to have culture critics on staff whose entire job was writing about books, movies, and TV. People read them and then discussed them. We have the technology to do this again.
