Don't just share the most polished, professional works. Repost the people who are just starting, who are amateur, who maybe don't have the proportions or the anatomy or the color down. Remember they're choosing to pick up a pencil and enjoy the act of creating, many of them for the first time.

lrp artists should not have to answer anything about genAI on the projects they work on. sure many will speak up in defense of their team, but you should be asking the project heads. you should be grilling them. ARTISTS ARE NOT PAID ENOUGH FOR BULLSHIT.

It's totally okay for the audience to be taken aback by this. And tbh, we should be looking at how this movie was handled as a whole. The anger is misguided at the fans and not at the people who aren't taking Avatar seriously. This is sad for both the artist and the fandom.

While the crew of animators are against AI that doesn't mean that everyone on the team is. Somehow this slide got okayed to present and the way it was presented made it seem like they replaced a research and development team. This is not okay, and we shouldn't be trying to spin this any other way.

This isn't misinformation, it's based off of official sources from the panel at SDC. It's leaving the audience wondering how exactly or if AI has played a role in any stage of development. This specifically hasn't been addressed. -

Hire real people ❌ Ask ChatGPT ✅ It's so dumb tbh. So many people would kill to have an opportunity to work on a big name like Avatar but they choose to use AI. Why not hire a person who is knowledgeable in the culture, there was no reason to ask the damn ai robot.
