you trying so hard to be seen as "one of the good ones" just puts you further back than the people who are unapologetically racist.

we would all be able to move on much faster if you just simply listen and take accountability. unfortunately it's human nature to act defensive in the face of embarrassment or being seen as "wrong" even when they don't mean to.

what a lot of people don't realize is that you can still do, or say racist things unintentionally. it's ingrained in society/culture. and when you call them out they get all defensive or are like "wait that's impossible" cuz they're more scared of being seen as a racist then just actually changing.

I just think you can call out racists and homophobes etc without resorting to using ableist slurs. But what does my disabled ass know 🤷🏻‍♀️
