With the whole Hank Green controversy going on, it still boggles my mind that anyone would use an LLM for 'research'. I mean, I use Wikipedia & DDG for research. WP quality ranges from passable to 100% shite, but can have useful references. DDG helps find good sources with some effort.

LLM chatbots are popular for a simple reason, basically the same as why misinformation still existed in the era of libraries and then the WWW. Because people are lazy. They want information and 'facts' handed to them, not 'do their own research'. Mix in confirmation bias and presto.

Special category of clickbait videos: those that promise to talk about a certain subject, but end up spending half the video talking about completely unrelated nonsense.

Always easier to blame those scary wolves than it is to take on responsibility for one's own actions. Meanwhile wolves are an integral part of these ecosystems while humans are the intruders. Agent Smith was correct, humanity is a virus.
