“Drum Dancer” (1973) by the brilliant Inuk sculptor Karoo Ashevak, who carved figures from stories he heard in his traditional childhood out of weathered old pieces of whalebone left by 19th-century whalers and Inuit ancestors.

Over the top to say white sharks are "invading" Nova Scotia waters when this is their natural habitat, not ours. The sea offers human beings many hazards even in shallow waters. I've also heard the term used of bears, in wildernesses where people are encroaching in the largest numbers ever.
