It's not *just* a vote to continue the coverup, it's literally signing on as a (hopefully soon to be indicted) coconspirator. Hopefully every Senator who's up for reelection is hearing loud and clear that the only acceptable vote is "Hell NO."

I've just started "Empire of AI" so far it's really good and thought provoking – and it reads a bit like the script for a really good heist movie.

It's good that he came around, but think about it: all of the Rs making excuses for Miller are, in effect, saying "this is completely normal and acceptable, it should have no bearing on your opinion of this candidate." Think about that. They think domestic abuse is a normal part of family life.

No! I'll have to see if I can find it. I loved the part in the article where she was complaining about getting her "refund" as a voucher that she can't use 🙂 Considering the hassle for the airline and the other passengers on the flight any refund seems very generous.

Seems like he could just use McConnell’s Garland argument to do nothing and let the people decide. If Mitch really is dead and the Rs have been covering that up, then clearly they aren’t urgent about filling the seat.

Gov appoints the replacement. When he gets around to it.

What’s the end game? What happens after the scene? Especially if he’s not actually dead. Right now he’s playing a clean game, the Rs are down a vote, and McConnell’s seat is open in November. Seems to me the play is to win that election.
