Yeah. I suspect that fixed wing air ambulance is probably one of the ways that you build time now that flying checks around is no longer a thing. Nothing I found had any information on the crew's experience, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were low time.

I'm guessing, but it seems possible that they assumed when the jamming stopped (if they knew that it stopped) their nav gear would recover quickly. Though I would hope that it would show a great big red flag if the signal was unreliable – but I suppose jamming might not alert you to a bad signal.

I suppose the really interesting question is how many of the "bots" are silicon and how many just really need to work on their critical thinking… Seems all too possible that there was little or no good info on how the GPS jamming worked & the crew didn't understand the failure mode.

If the results hold, we'll see just how rabid the Rs (and sadly some of the Ds) can be. Hopefully the Ds will start to read the writing on the wall and will play to save the country rather than to punish the progressive upstarts.
