Entirely different crime, but… Nice MGB convertible parked right in front of the hydrant when we rolled up. Driver had wisely left the doors unlocked, saving the top. Opened the doors, ran the suction hose through the car. Driver came back, thought we should stop pumping & let him leave. Nope.
