When I photo sunsets the pink rarely comes out in the picture - I tried fidgeting with my phone settings tonight - beautiful, but none of the pink that is out there tonight !

Prompted by another 's post. I am not the same person I was as a child. As a young adult , even as a young woman. My politics have changed, my sexuality evolved, my wants have narrowed . I know less than I did as a youngster, I have better people who have shaped me.

We have finally started cat proofing my neglected herb garden. Because it's paved if I can get out there without worrying about cats and door ways I will hopefully able to do a little gardening everyday in my raised beds. Someone else will have to prone my pears hard this winter .

www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... I guess I just don't care if my 'race' has 'purity'. I don't really understand why people are obsessed with slin colour. Culture I understand more. I also understand aesthetic preference but - I just don't care - I'm beginning to wonder if it's me who is weird.

My mood is excellent today simply because both Rexes and the youngest Siamese all snuggled into me last night. Sleeping with cats is so soothing and healing

Re cooking costs- I just made pasta for the first time in ages and estimate it cost £5.60 Compared to £2.60 for bought dried pasta. I didn't even try to calculate fuel and work hour costs costs - fresh pasta is far quicker to cook on the hob, but there is the prep time ( and effort)

My gods; I always forget how weak I am - started making pasta but have had to get husband to roll it out 😳🤣

How someone rarely ambulant manages to break a toe on the way to the loo is beyond me. And it's my MIDDLE toe- Ridiculously harder to break given it's two little protectors either side !

Husband has a day off work and we were all set up to go to the seaside for the day . My father was to housesit and pet sit but his dementia is very obvious so we'll stay at home . It's not worth the risk :(

Last night I thought did not need the hefty painkillers- I was wrong. I vow to myself to take them every night for a week and see how I feel then .
