anyway i picked up some steak, corn, and shrimp. definitely going to do surf and turf this week. trying to decide if i want to do esquites with it, or just plain midwestern corn on the cob.

every year, i say "I'm gonna make it to vote on actual election day" but then someone invites me or I get tired of the calls and i go vote early. I haven't voted on election day since 2014.

yes! The writing was Not Great, but the acting and overall grandeur of the movie was really, really good. Solid pacing for a 3 hour movie, and I really enjoyed myself. But I did lose it at "the age of bronze is collapsing."

i'm just pissed about it. this shouldn't happen. He's a good guy, contributes well, has two of the cutest kitties, and just... couldn't make it work.
