Oh my giddy aunt. I had tempura sea bass (which is what we call branzino) a couple of weeks ago at our favourite Japanese place, and it was incredible. That looks AMAZING

…for a mass audience, the truly *correct* answer is probably Nightwish, which I hate to admit, because I don’t really enjoy their music very much. But they would be perfect for it.

My first thought is Manowar, who would do a pretty straight ahead exactly-what-you’d-expect take that would be great. But it occurs to me that Sepultura’s last five albums were concept albums, of an increasingly proggy style, and I’d love to hear what they’d do with it. That said…

I am very fond of Beastmaster, and obviously I’m very pro the idea of a metal musical, but Bubba Ho-Tep has Elvis in it, man.

I really enjoyed doing these last two pages.

I know I said “Nick Cave is the middle class Danzig” the other day, but a: I’m not a critic, b: it was prompted by a bunch of my friends getting excited to go see Nick Cave this week, so I obviously don’t disdain Nick Cave fans, c: I meant it as an insult to Cave, not the fans, anyway
