Lies. Remove the income cap on SSI taxation, and make Congress repay the money it “borrowed” (read: stole) from the fund over the years, and it will be more than solvent.

Apologies, Blueskiers — I forgot to put the alt text on the previous reply’s photo. It’s an image of RUSH percussionist and lyricist Neil Peart (1952–2020), ca. 2012–2013, behind his drum kit for the Clockwork Angels tour.

I think that both MP and 2112 have superior side ones to p/g. But that’s the beauty of such things — the experience of all art is subjective, and there is no objectively right or wrong answer, only our individual preferences, which can coexist without contradiction. Or so Neil would have taught us.

I disagree. I think “Entre Nous” is a great track (one of my favorites, in fact), and “Different Strings” showcases the band’s range. Furthermore, side one of Grace Under Pressure doesn’t hold a candle to side one of Permanent Waves.

So close! The answer we were looking for was Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures, and Signals. 😉

She certainly does. 🙂

Anika’s phenomenal. An absolute powerhouse behind the kit, and when she smiles while playing she lights up the entire arena. No one could ever replace Neil, but she’s a more than worthy successor to his place on stage, and her effect on Alex and Geddy is inspiring.

Yeah, she’s amazing, and Tuesday night’s show was incredible.

Does anyone know why they didn’t run the closing film clip after the encore? Did they run long? Was it a union thing?

RUSH sounded incredible! Geddy's voice was in excellent form, Alex played with passion and precision (as Neil would’ve said), and Anika is a force of nature behind the drum kit. Best of all, when Anika plays, the joy on her face is clear to see, and it sets a bright tone for the whole show.

Now in my seat for RUSH, Night 1 at Madison Square Garden. 7th row center! Boo-yah!
