ngl living in NYC vs. growing up in the burbs has made me a bit more “tough on crime” in the sense that I see firsthand how even if 99% of people follow the law, all it takes is one person to ruin it for everyone, particularly with public transit (vandalism, harassment, pulling emergency brake, etc)
