Agree, this is why I suggest it needs a piece of short secondary legislation that overrides that.

I remember back in the first new Scottish Parliament where Annabel Goldie, Tory leader, was very happy she got one of their policies through despite being 4th place party. The structure forced the parties to work together to get the lead party to get anything done. It worked for a while anyway.

The problem with that is that it's technically already there, it just never gets enforced for oh so many reasons. The Fit & Proper Person test especially if enforced adequately would disqualify quite a few folk. But... it doesn't.

If I were asked to implement it, I'd not bother with the tech side. I'd put in a couple of regulations requiring certain core items to be passed from NHS employer to NHS employer, including full disciplinary notes, training records, complaints, etc. Even if it's an old fashioned paper dump.

LinkedIn is an abysmally difficult place now. It used to be OK, it was just folk looking for jobs and others being quite happy about work achievements. Those two groups are still there, but the sheer volume of folk who have no original ideas using AI slop as "look at me!" makes it unreadable.
