I most appreciate the book's actionable optimism for those of us trying to save the Republic. Some highlights:

My best friend and I went to see Hum for two nights at Slide Away in Chicago and were surprised by how many younger people (teens and early 20s we guessed) that were at the show too! Our 90s indie bands are cool again! Didn't make Pavement today but wore this in solidarity:
