Netanyahu is a monster and certainly a war criminal. But, unfortunately the ICC has become mostly political. For example, they labeled Putin a war criminal, and appeared to be based only on the fact that they don't like that he invaded Ukraine. I don't think the USA should get involved with ICC.

OK, you are right, but I think it will be harder for Paul to make that charge stick with Fauci taking the 5th than if he had walked out.

That would enable Paul to try to charge Fauci with contempt of congress. If Fauci stays and takes the 5th on everything, there is nothing Paul can do, since Biden already pardoned Fauci for anything related to COVID.

Sadly, congress is not required to permit lawyers to represent the people they subpoena for questioning. This same topic came up in the republican Iran-Contra scandal with Ollie North's attorney. When told to not speak he said, "I am not a potted plant".
