Become a paid subscriber to *all* of the independent journalists I follow, not just some of them.

Pay my bills and maybe finally start to have enough in my bank for emergencies. Eventually move away from the Southern parts of the US. I've never been financially stable in my life, so I'm not sure what else I'd do.

I would probably give this money to benefit the persons that speaks an indigenous language and/or pay them to teach me their languages.

I'd quit my crappy job and not worry as much about paying my bills while I look for something better. #UBI

I'd likely use it to afford dignified housing and groceries for my daughter and myself and lift myself out of poverty. I work two jobs (more than 40 hrs per week), btw.

Many people worry UBI just hands landlords more room to raise rent. What if we paired it with LVT (a tax on land value that discourages hoarding and speculation)?

Give up some of my paid jobs to spend more time reviewing other people's music, creating my own music, and writing/streaming info to help others make their own music.

If I had UBI with no strings attached, I'd finally be able to tackle some of the hobbies I wanted to tackle for a long time and not just work a morning shift on certain days.

I'd finally be able to relax a little knowing that we wouldn't go hungry any time soon... I'd also get some kind of gym membership so I can swim for low impact exercise and possibly regain some semblance of a healthier body

Probably use it for philanthropy. At the moment I’m giving a little more than I can afford to - my therapy scales are sliding a little too much - but it’s important to me to give to my community, and it’s overwhelming that there are so many in need. It would be nice to give more freely.

Not worry about every time that I bought something fun for myself. Get myself an actual birthday cake more than once in my life. Support friends and artists. There's just...so much that could be done!
