When people don’t know that paper bags are 5¢, I have no problem telling them “it’s been that way for over 6 years.”

On one hand: yes, they should give a discount On the other hand, I’ll do that free labor if it means not stopping my music/audiobook to make small talk.

I have a co-worker who has two kids and one on the way. His wife is out of work. My wife makes a shitload more money than I do and we still got priced out of Portland. I don’t know how that family does it.

I would just say “let people pay the stupid tax (lottery tickets)” but some of those people have children who could benefit from the money their parents throw away.

Kaiju loneliness epidemic

I couldn’t find my little fan. I asked my idiot assistant manager if he’d seen it. He got it down from the top of the filing cabinets and said he put it up there because it gave him a headache. That’s a very good reason to turn it off. It’s not a good reason to put it where I might never find it

I like when people dismiss punk as “people who can’t play their instruments” because then I don’t have to listen to any of their other opinions.

I don’t agree with those maps that show red states as “Dumbfuckistan.” The whole damn country is Dumbfuckistan.

I want to hit people who put up signs that say “garage sale today” and then don’t take them down. If you’re not going to take them down, at least put a date on it.
