Myself after living in 83 for several years. Italy has a few places that were worth the drive and so does Spain but for just a simple bistro and 3 stars I have to give it to France. Plus I love Foie gras pate and would drive up to the dordonge to stock up.

Incorrect every available ranking rates Italy first - also, Italian cuisine as a whole is the only cuisine protected by UNESCO...sorry 😢 But as I always say, if flatearthers can say their wrong opinions, so can you & nobody should censor you 🙌

Italian cuisine, traditional Mexican cuisine, and the French gastronomic meals made UNESCO list. Without a defined area of Italy it is hard to even dispute. There used to be a place in Vaduz that I was able to enjoy a little French, Italian and Spanish

The reason you have to qualify w/ "traditional" & "gastronomic meals" is b/c the only cuisine protected as a whole is the Italian one - so I feel I should thank you for proving my point. You also proved it by entirely evading the fact that Italian cuisine is ranked 1st everywhere🤷‍♂️

Your claim all of Italy is a single cuisine says to me you have not eaten much in Italy. Northern Italy is vastly different from Southern Italy and Sicily its own thing. Depending on which body of water a region borders is another. So which Italian cuisine region?

That is the point, the food is so consistently & uniformly good everywhere in Italy that UNESCO protected all of it, unlike the examples you mentioned. Every region is its own thing, not just Italy.I’m literally Italian but let some random guy explain Italian food to an Italian - you sound American😑

Thank you for the comic relief. For a Dutchman that has lived and traveled extensively having an Italian says all of Italian food is the best in the world makes me laugh almost as much as the majority of single Italian men still have their mother do their laundry. If it makes you happy go with it

I’ve seen people deflect in more dignified ways, but whatever works for you mate. The incontrovertible fact remains that Italian cuisine is ranked #1 and is the only cuisine protected by UNESCO in its entirety. Consider yourself extremely lucky to have been able to try it, not everyone can 😌🤷‍♂️

There isn't a single restaurant in Italy that is ranked in the top 10. I do know if I am driving on a country road in France and I stop at a small bistro chances are I will have an enjoyable meal, not true in good parts of Italy.Spain having another world cup does seem to make tapas extra tasty.

You are allowed to have your objectively incorrect opinion. The facts however (reminder: facts are not your taste or lack thereof) clarify that Italian cuisine is ranked first worldwide. Not sure why you are arguing facts - it's not my fault Italian cuisine is better than french cuisine 😌🤷‍♂️

Ewww why would you even mention going to a terrible place that couldn't even stay open? That is the death of food - so my advice is to keep that to yourself. It's not a flex nor something you should ever brag about 🤦‍♂️
