Alexander ClarksonWhat baffles me is how a Labour government or the CDU seem to have institutional amnesia that leads to neglect of concepts like lifelong learning that emphasise how far universities and vocational/technical training should be intertwined in a shared tertiary education framework.

Alexander ClarksonThere is an interesting theoretical study to be written on how policy discourse becomes detached from consideration of structural constraints, whether it is physicality of the body, natural resources, military logistics or economic capacity. But I haven't got expertise to write that kind of theory.
